30 ml of ethanolic solution of (E)-3-(4-florophenyl)-1-(4-hydroxyphenyl) prop-2-en-1-one (1.00 mmol) and 4-hydrazinobenzenesulfonamide hydrochloride (1.10 mmol) in presence of a catalytic amount of glacial acetic acide were refluxed for 11 h. The contents of the reaction were monitored by TLC. It was then stirred at the temperature of a room for 12 hours. This solvent then was then removed using a vacuum pump. The solid formed was formed from methanol-ether.
